Job Summary

If you are driven by your “right first time” approach and enjoy the pressure of meeting key deadlines, then join our highly collaborative, multi-skilled team.   You will be responsible for the installation of a broad range of telecommunications equipment on platforms and trackside across the UK rail network, demonstrating your ability to be self-motivated and use your initiative.

Key Objectives

• Installation, testing and commissioning of Telecomms Systems within the rail environment in accordance with installation drawings, test and commissioning test plans and specifications
• Maintain a high level of quality for all installations work
• Provide good quality, legible records associated with installation and testing activity

Requirements

• C&G 2381 - Part 1 and 2
• Proven experience working as an Electrician
• Have the flexibility to work anywhere in the UK
• Ideally C&G 2391 qualification or prepared to undertake the appropriate course
• Self-motivated, a ble to work under your own direction and to work effectively within a team as required.

Desirable Skills  

• Experience of working with legacy equipment found on Network Rail infrastructure
• Good knowledge of Network Rail Telecoms, network topology, experience of working to Network Rail Group Standards.
